Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
鋼の錬金術師 FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST
Synopsis
In Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, the lives of Edward and Alphonse Elric are irrevocably altered when an alchemical attempt to resurrect their deceased mother backfires. By violating the taboo against human transmutation, the brothers pay a horrific price: Alphonse forfeits his entire physical form, while Edward sacrifices a limb to anchor his brother's soul to a suit of armor. Seeking refuge with their neighbor Pinako Rockbell and her granddaughter Winry, a talented mechanic who crafts automail—sophisticated robotic limbs—for Edward, the duo eventually embark on a perilous journey. Their goal is to restore their bodies through the legendary Philosopher's Stone, an artifact capable of bypassing the law of equivalent exchange. As Edward rises in prominence as a formidable alchemist and acquires the title "Fullmetal," their pursuit draws them into a sprawling conspiracy that threatens the very fate of their world.
