Hailing from the remote eastern city of Lior, Rosé was a devoted adherent of Cornello’s doctrines. Her faith stemmed from the belief that he possessed the power to resurrect her deceased boyfriend, Kain. However, Cornello instead fabricated a talking parrot chimera designed to imitate Kain’s voice. Upon discovering this deception, Cornello imprisoned Rosé in a room with the creature and employed an incomplete Philosopher's Stone to force it to attack her. She was eventually rescued by Al, and together with Ed, they managed to expose Cornello’s fraudulence. This narrative arc is consistent across both the 2003 and 2009 anime adaptations.
