Philip Gargantos Armstrong, the former General and current head of the prestigious Armstrong family, is the father of Major Alex Louis Armstrong, Major General Olivier Mira Armstrong, and their younger sisters Amue, Strongine, and Kathleen Elle. A self-described windbag, Philip delights in recounting tales of his family’s grandeur and his own eventful military career to any unfortunate souls forced to listen, a trait of familial pride that he appears to have passed down to Alex.
