Henschel
Summary
Second Lieutenant Henschel serves as an Amestrian State Military Officer stationed at Fort Briggs, where he stands as a loyal subordinate to Major General Olivier Mira Armstrong. Following the accidental assault on the fort by the Homunculus Sloth, Henschel strongly opposes Lt. General Raven's plan to seal the tunnel entrance, driven by concern for the soldiers sent to investigate the channel. Although the Major General initially seems to dismiss his objections, she secretly informs him that Edward Elric has alchemically constructed a secondary entrance behind Raven's back. Accompanied by Captain Buccaneer and a small group, Henschel ventures into the tunnel and is relieved to discover two survivors amidst the devastation wrought by the Homunculus Pride. After Major General Armstrong is transferred to Central Command, Henschel discusses the approaching shift in leadership with Buccaneer, and the two conclude that Central's incoming replacements are entirely unprepared for the capabilities of the Briggs soldiers.
