Summary

Riza Hawkeye serves as Roy Mustang’s most reliable subordinate, managing the duties he neglects due to laziness while acting as his personal assistant and bodyguard. She functions as his voice of reason, maintaining composure during crises and reprimanding him when his emotions cloud his judgment. Their bond is profound across both versions of Fullmetal Alchemist; in the anime, she considers him her most precious person, while in the manga, she loses her will to live upon believing he has died. A master of firearms, especially sniper rifles, Riza possesses lethal accuracy. She also raises a dog named Black Hayate with strict discipline, famously shooting at the wall behind him whenever he relieves himself indoors to correct his behavior.
