Summary
Second Lieutenant Maria Ross assumes responsibility for the Elric brothers while they are stationed in Central. Alongside her partner Denny Brosh, she is tasked with their protection following the return of Scar to the city and his prior attempts on their lives. Ross quickly establishes herself as a parental figure to the siblings, offering them guidance whenever possible. She develops a fondness for both Edward and Alphonse, notably risking her own safety to help calm Ed when he was absorbing red stone material inside laboratory 5. Both she and Brosh operate under the command of Major Alex Louis Armstrong.
