Summary
Sig, also known as Curtis, is a massive, muscular butcher residing in Dublith and serves as the devoted husband of Izumi Curtis. He is a man of few words who unconditionally supports his wife’s decisions, even when she attempts to bring their deceased infant son back to life. Much like Izumi, he holds a deep affection for the Elric brothers and harbors a strong dislike for the military. In the manga, he dismisses Fuhrer King Bradley’s inquiries and the offer for Izumi to become a State Alchemist, though he eventually forms a bond with Major Alex Louis Armstrong through a muscle-flexing contest. An anime episode notably depicts him sleeping with both eyes open. He also establishes a friendship with Winry Rockbell.
