Lust, known as the "Ultimate Spear," is a Homunculus and one of the primary antagonists in the Fullmetal Alchemist series. As the first Homunculus to appear, she plays a crucial role in both the manga and the 2003 anime adaptation. She is frequently paired with Gluttony, exhibiting a close, almost maternal bond with him. Her Ouroboros mark is situated on her collarbone, just above her breasts. In the 2003 anime, Lust is highly intelligent, manipulative, and devoted to her own ideals, though she increasingly craves humanity as the story progresses. Her main objectives among the Homunculi involve gathering information and manipulating alchemists into creating Philosopher's Stones. Achieving true humanity becomes her central ambition, arguably more so than for the other Homunculi. In the manga and the 2009 anime, Lust is the only female Homunculus and the second created by Father.
