May, Shao
Summary
Shao May serves as both the pet and traveling companion to May Chang. Originally abandoned as a cub because of her abnormally small size, Shao May was raised by May as if she were part of the family, resulting in an exceptionally strong bond between the panda and the young girl. The pair is almost always together, with Shao May often providing comic relief by mimicking May’s actions. Whether they are practicing alchemy or performing martial arts, Shao May will adopt whatever pose her master takes, moving in perfect synchronization with her.
