Summary
Mason serves as the more vocal assistant at the Curtises' butcher shop, where he has been employed by Sig and Izumi since the time when the Elrics first became Izumi's apprentices. During Izumi's grueling test for the brothers, which required them to survive for a month on Yock Island without alchemy while seeking the truth behind the phrase "All is one, one is all," Mason acted as the menacing monster who harassed them. In reality, he was acting under Izumi's orders in disguise to ensure the boys remained safe throughout their stay.
