Synopsis
Certain episodes of the Pocket Monsters anime were sometimes broadcast as a substitute for reruns of the main series, airing as part of the Weekly Pokémon Broadcasting Station in Japan. These episodes ran concurrently with Pocket Monsters Advanced from December 3, 2002 to September 28, 2004. Outside Japan, these episodes were only dubbed in the West as part of Pokémon Chronicles. The Japanese version contained 16 episodes, while the U.S. version had 22; this page reflects the Japanese version. The 6 extra episodes in the U.S. version were taken from earlier movies and specials. Specifically, episodes 1, 2, and 3 come from Pokémon: The Legend of Thunder!, episodes 4 and 20 come from Pokémon: Pikachu's Winter Vacation (2001), and episode 22 comes from Pokémon: Pikachu's Winter Vacation.
