Summary

Cyndaquil is a small, bipedal mammalian Pokémon characterized by bluish fur on its upper body and cream-colored fur on its underside. It typically has its eyes closed and features a long, thin snout. Its arms are short, while its legs are slightly more developed, ending in feet with a single nail each. Four red circles on its back can erupt into flames, giving its back the appearance of being covered in spines when the fire is active. This Pokémon uses its flames for defense, with the firepower growing more intense as it becomes angry or defensive. Its fire is described as tremendously powerful, though it cannot burn properly if Cyndaquil is tired. Naturally timid, it often curls into a ball when intimidated and prefers to stay hunched over. While rare in the wild, it inhabits grasslands and has recently been observed in the Terarium of Blueberry Academy. According to Pokémon Sleep, Cyndaquil usually sleeps curled up, occasionally spouting flames from its back even while resting. Regarding its evolution, Cyndaquil evolves into Typhlosion, which further evolves into Typhlosion. In the Hisui region, it evolves into Quilava, which then evolves into Hisuian Typhlosion.
