Summary

Elekid is a yellow, round-bodied Pokémon characterized by black stripes. Its arms are bulky relative to its body and end in three claws rather than fingers. Two stripes encircle its arms, while two plug-like horns with side holes sit atop its head, glowing bluish-white when fully charged. A black lightning bolt marking adorns its chest, flanked by two rows of stripes that continue around its lower back. Its legs and rounded, toeless feet are black. When it hears thunderstorms approaching, Elekid becomes restless and rowdy, often playing out in the rain. It generates electricity by rotating its arms, though it tires quickly and can only produce a small charge. Unable to store this energy, it frequently breaks into human homes to consume electricity from outlets. Elekid resides in grasslands. It evolves into Electabuzz, which in turn evolves into Electivire.
