Waninoko

Summary

Totodile is a bipedal, crocodilian Pokémon characterized by well-developed jaws, red eyes with ridges above them, and black markings surrounding the eyes. Several sharp teeth are visible, and its chest features a yellow, V-shaped marking that extends to its arms, bisected by a thin line. The creature possesses five fingers and three toes, with a row of three red spines running down its back, each flanked by a small red ridge, while the tip of its tail bears a single red spine. By nature, Totodile is playful yet rough, harboring a habit of biting almost anything it encounters, including its Trainer. Despite its modest size, its jaws are powerful enough to crush objects, occasionally causing serious injuries. It is considered unwise to turn one's back on a Totodile, as it may bite without warning. While scarce in the wild, they can typically be found near bodies of water such as rivers, ponds, and lakes, and have recently been observed living in the Terarium of Blueberry Academy. As depicted in Pokémon Sleep, Totodile and its Evolutions practice unihemispheric sleep, resting only half of their brain at a time while keeping one eye open. This behavior is hypothesized to serve as a defense mechanism against enemy attacks. Regarding its development, Totodile evolves into Croconaw, which subsequently evolves into Feraligatr.
