Summary

Celebi is a green, fairy-like Pokémon characterized by its round head that tapers into a curved point, large baby-blue eyes framed by thick black rings, and a pair of green antennae with blue tips. Its body features three-fingered hands, round toeless feet, and clear wings attached to its back. Revered as a forest deity and known in legends as the "Voice of the Forest," this guardian typically resides in forests but only reveals itself during eras and locations of peace. Its presence is considered an omen of a prosperous and bright future for the Pokémon world. Celebi possesses the extraordinary ability to travel through time and exist simultaneously across all eras, causing plant life to flourish wherever it goes. This vegetation can heal Celebi when it is dying and restore the surrounding flora to perfect health, as demonstrated in Pokémon 4Ever - Celebi: The Voice of the Forest (M04). Additionally, Celebi can heal physical wounds and release a telekinetic energy wave for self-defense. In Pokémon Colosseum, it was shown to instantly purify Shadow Pokémon and can be summoned at Relic Forest using the melody of a Time Flute. As depicted in A Timeless Encounter! (SM125), Celebi can detect temporal anomalies in the current timeline and return affected individuals to their original time.
