Synopsis
Two years following the conclusion of the Fourth Great Ninja War, Konohagakure basks in a restored tranquility until Sixth Hokage Kakashi Hatake detects the moon drifting toward Earth, posing an imminent threat of global destruction. Amidst this catastrophe, a new adversary named Toneri Ootsutsuki appears, abducting Hanabi, the younger sister of Hinata Hyuuga. To address the emergency, Kakashi assembles a specialized squad comprising Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, Shikamaru Nara, Sai, and Hinata to rescue Hanabi from Toneri. Although the group strives to succeed, they face numerous hurdles that impede their mission. The kidnapping strains their unity, and with the planet on the brink of collapse, they must race against time to save both Hanabi and the world. As the battle intensifies, Naruto comes to understand that he is fighting for something far more significant than any prior conflict: love.
Background
The events in the film The Last: Naruto the Movie take place chronologically between chapters 699 and 700 of the original manga. It is the tenth animated film in the Naruto series and was made to commemorate the manga's 15th anniversary.
