Gaara

Summary

Gaara is a shinobi from the Hidden Sand Village in the Wind Country, bearing the registration number 56-001. Born on January 19 under the Capricorn sign, he possesses AB blood and stands 146 cm tall weighing 39 kg during Part I, growing to 166 cm and 50.9 kg by Part II. He is the son of the Fourth Kazekage and Karura, and the younger brother of Temari and Kankuro, with Yashamaru as his uncle. Initially introduced during the Chuunin Exams arc, Gaara arrived in Konoha alongside his siblings and his mentor, Baki, under the banner of Team Baki. At that time, he was perceived as a merciless and violent individual, a demeanor stemming from a lonely childhood devoid of love that led him to hate everyone except himself. Approximately six years prior to the main story, he had the Kanji for "Love" (愛) tattooed on his forehead, symbolizing his identity as the "Demon who loves only himself," a trait that is also reflected in the meaning of his name. He is the jinchuriki of the One-Tailed Shukaku.
