Summary
B is a muscle-bound shinobi from Kumogakure and serves as the Jinchuuriki of the Eight-Tailed Beast. Hints suggest he originates from the Yotsuki clan. He is easily recognized by his distinctive appearance, featuring white hair in the manga and blond hair in the anime. His body bears specific tattoos: the kanji for "iron" (tetsu) on his right shoulder and a bull’s horn on his left cheek, mirroring the Hachibi, whose left horn is missing. He also wields seven swords. His history with the village’s leadership began early. As a child, he was gathered alongside other youths to select a tag partner for A. B was the only one capable of performing the Double Lariat with A, leading to him being named "B" and A declaring them brothers. His path as a Jinchuuriki was set in tragedy when A’s cousin, the previous host of Gyūki, lost control and killed Motoi’s father along with seven other ninja. At the age of five, B was chosen as the next vessel for the beast. During the 3rd Great Shinobi World War, he and his brother encountered Minato Namikaze, engaging in a brief skirmish with him and his squad. Personality-wise, B demands respect, insisting on being addressed as "Lord Jinchuuriki" and referring to the Tailed Beast as "Lord Eight-Tails." He has a casual, friendly relationship with the Hachibi, often chatting with it. Unconventionally, he expresses himself through rap-style song, even pausing mid-battle to compose rhymes when threatened. He also appears to dislike bright light. As a Jinchuuriki, B possesses a chakra pool so massive it can overwhelm Samehada, causing the sentient sword to betray Kisame, another user of immense chakra. He is classified as a Perfect Jinchūriki, a rare status shared only with Yagura, the Fourth Mizukage, and Naruto Uzumaki, due to his complete control over the tailed beast. He is the only known living Jinchuuriki who can transform into and remain in his full tailed beast form indefinitely. Because of his strong bond with the Hachibi, the beast acts as his partner in battle, disrupting his chakra to dispel even genjutsu from the Mangekyou Sharingan.
