Summary

Kakashi Hatake, a Jonin and former ANBU operative, is defined by his silver hair, grey eyes, and the transplanted Sharingan. Born on September 15 under the Virgo sign with type O blood, he stands 5'11" and weighs 67.5 kg. He harbors a strong dislike for sweets, preferring miso soup with eggplant and broiled saury with salt, while his leisure time is often spent reading Jiraiya’s adult novels, starting with Icha-Icha Paradise and progressing to Icha-Icha Violence and later Icha-Icha Tactics. His philosophy, shaped by his friend Obito, dictates that while breaking rules makes one scum, abandoning friends is far worse. He maintains a one-sided rivalry with Might Guy, who constantly challenges him to contests ranging from Rock, Paper, Scissors to sumo wrestling. Despite Guy’s pride in his record of 49 wins to 50 losses, Kakashi remains indifferent. Kakashi’s combat prowess is legendary, earning him the moniker Copy Ninja Kakashi because he has copied over one thousand jutsu. His Sharingan, which is always active due to being a transplant, allows him to mimic techniques and predict movements flawlessly. However, as a non-Uchiha, using it drains excessive chakra, forcing him to cover it with his headband except in life-threatening situations. Though his proficiency rivals that of Itachi Uchiha, the chakra cost makes him somewhat weaker. In Part II, he awakens his own Mangekyo Sharingan, granting him space-time manipulation abilities that can sever limbs or send targets to other dimensions, though this drains him severely, once hospitalizing him for a week after just three uses. His arsenal is heavily focused on ninjutsu, particularly Water Release techniques like Water Encampment Wall for defense. He also employs Earth Release: Inner Decapitation Technique to immobilize foes and uses Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique sparingly. While he can create shadow clones, he limits himself to one at a time due to lower chakra reserves compared to Naruto. He is also skilled in genjutsu, such as Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique, and possesses the comedic yet painful Thousand Years of Pain attack, which can be enhanced with exploding tags for actual damage. Originally taught the Rasengan by the Fourth Hokage, Kakashi failed to integrate his lightning nature into it. Instead, he developed the Chidori, his only original jutsu. The attack’s speed initially overwhelmed his normal vision, but the Sharingan allowed him to counter effectively. Through mastery and the feat of cutting through a bolt of lightning, he upgraded the technique, renaming it Lightning Blade.
