Synopsis
Continues the story of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion I - Initiation
The sprawling Holy Britannian Empire, having expanded through military conquest, has seized countless territories—including Japan, which lost its independence after being crushed in the Second Pacific War of 2010 and was renamed Area 11. Within this climate of oppression, a single student secretly dreams of liberating Japan through a powerful rebellion. That student, Lelouch Lamperouge, drives his crusade with a deep hatred for the Empire and a burning desire to erase its infamous legacy. His plans for revenge take an unexpected turn when he encounters a mysterious figure named C.C., who grants him the supernatural power known as Geass—the ability to make anyone obey his commands without question. Armed with this overwhelming ability, Lelouch adopts the masked identity of Zero, a revolutionary symbol that represents the hopes of the oppressed worldwide. He vows to restore Japan's former glory and deliver divine retribution upon Britannia.
In this installment
Following several impressive triumphs over Britannian forces, Lelouch Lamperouge has elevated the Black Knights, his rebel organization, to unprecedented levels. His superior strategic mind and the Geass ability—which forces absolute compliance—render him seemingly invincible. Nevertheless, the path to revolt is filled with obstacles that leave Lelouch exposed. Especially menacing are the remarkable combat skills of Suzaku Kururugi and the enigmatic arrival of a young figure named V.V., both representing serious dangers to Lelouch's ambitious rebellion.
