Summary

Kaguya Sumeragi serves as the young head mistress of the Kyōto House and a staunch supporter of the Black Knights. As the representative of the Sumeragi Concern, a massive conglomerate established by the Sumeragi House, she wields significant influence despite her petite stature of 156 cm and youthful appearance of around 14 or 15 years old. Her will is ironclad, and she has harbored a deep admiration for Zero since his debut, openly desiring to marry him. She remains unfazed by contrary opinions, even dismissing rumors of his infidelity by claiming a true hero enjoys physical pleasures and proposing that she, Kallen, and C.C. constitute his harem. Her history is deeply intertwined with the protagonist's family. During their childhood, she met Lelouch and Nunnally at the Kururugi Shrine and is also Suzaku’s cousin. Following the Black Rebellion, she became the sole survivor of the Kyōto House after fleeing to the Chinese Federation, returning only after Zero’s comeback a year later. With the execution of Kirihara and other clan members, she noted that she and Suzaku were the last remaining members of the six Kyoto clans. Under the new political order, she assumed the role of Supreme Council Chairwoman and represented the United State of Japan within the United Federation of Nations. Her name is derived from Kaguya, the protagonist of Japan’s oldest surviving folktale.
