Summary

Toudou Kyoushirou serves as the head of the Black Knights' military operations and stands as an exceptionally skilled combatant. He earned the moniker Toudou of Miracles after single-handedly defeating the otherwise unstoppable Holy Britannian Empire during the invasion of Japan without relying on Knightmare Frames. This historic achievement became known as the Miracle of Itsukushima. A childhood mentor to Suzaku Kururugi, he is one of the few Japanese individuals who comprehends Suzaku's ideals. Toudou is frequently depicted carrying a katana. Initially affiliated with the Japan Liberation Front, he accepted his fate when the group was destroyed, but Zero persuaded him to join the Black Knights to realize the promise of victory established by the Miracle of Itsukushima. Similar to Kaname, he remained loyal to Zero after his capture during the Black Rebellion, believing that Zero must have had valid reasons for keeping his troops in the dark. Toudou subsequently led Black Knight forces in liberation campaigns across the Chinese Federation and the Middle East before being appointed Chief of Staff of the reorganized Black Knights, which now function as the national army of the UFN.
