Summary

Gino Weinberg is a seventeen-year-old Knight of Three and an ace pilot hailing from a noble, wealthy lineage. His privileged background leaves him somewhat naive regarding the realities of the outside world, yet his cheerful and friendly nature helps him forge many friendships. He quickly takes a shine to Suzaku following his induction into the Knights of Rounds. In combat, Gino pilots the transformable Knightmare Frame known as Tristan. He holds Kallen in high regard after she defeats both him and Anya while using her upgraded Guren Flight-Enabled Version, noting that her prowess rivals that of a Knight of the Round. Gino expresses regret when he is denied a rematch after Kallen is captured by Li Xingke. To understand the life of an ordinary citizen, he enrolls in Ashford Academy alongside Anya. While Kallen is imprisoned in Tokyo, Gino visits her to inquire if she plans to return to Britannia using the Stadtfeld identity. Their discussion is interrupted by an attack on the settlement, but he receives his answer when she escapes and joins the fray. Kallen reveals she has chosen the name Kōzuki, and when Gino asks if facing her on the battlefield brings him joy or sorrow, he asserts that they should simply enjoy the moment. Gino then requests permission from Suzaku to fight Kallen alone, but Suzaku refuses to let him have the easy victory, choosing to engage her himself.
