Summary

Anya Alstreim is a fifteen-year-old who stands 158 cm tall and holds the distinction of being the youngest individual ever appointed to the Knights of Rounds. She pilots the heavy assault Knightmare Frame, the Mordred, and bears a Britannian emblem tattooed on her left arm. Known for her quiet and reclusive nature, she maintains a mysterious past and possesses a detached attitude toward most situations, frequently declaring them boring. This lack of common sense often leads to absurd actions, such as piloting the Mordred in a non-combat zone to capture Lelouch’s hat for extra club budgets, a stunt that aroused the suspicion of the Knight Police and ignored the fact that she was supposed to be Lelouch’s girlfriend if she succeeded. In battle, her style mirrors her heavily-armored machine, allowing her to annihilate enemies with overwhelming force without hesitation, even killing disabled foes. Despite her aloof demeanor, she is close friends with fellow Knights Suzaku Kururugi and Gino Weinberg, and Suzaku’s cat, Arthur, seems more affectionate toward her than toward Suzaku himself. She actively maintains a blog filled with camera-phone pictures because she does not trust her own memories; this is evidenced by blog entries from nine years prior that she has no recollection of writing, as well as significant discrepancies between her journals and her actual recollections.
