Kirihara, Taizou

Summary

Taizou Kirihara is an elderly industrialist who played a pivotal role in the development of Sakuradite mining and established Kirihara Industries. During the Kururugi Administration, he served as a powerful behind-the-scenes administrator and one of the most influential figures in the government. Following Britannia's invasion, he publicly aligned himself with the new regime and the colonization of Area 11, earning a reputation as a traitor. In reality, he secretly led resistance efforts against Britannian rule and headed the Kyōto House. Having known both Nunnally and Lelouch since their first visit to the Kururugi Shrine, he is aware of Lelouch's identity as Zero and provides him with crucial support and assistance in his fight against the Britannia Empire.
