Continues the story of Lupin III vs. Detective Conan
Beloved criminal Lupin III has his sights set on a new score: the crown of the Vespanian royal family. His timing, however, couldn't be worse. The sudden death of the queen and prince of Vespania has thrown the country into disarray, and while that won't hurt the gentleman burglar's efforts, it comes with a small problem... and that problem's name is Conan Edogawa. Throw in a royal case of mistaken identity, along with a shadowy plot born from greed, and it's a stage appropriately set for a clash between the world's greatest thief and the world's greatest detective.

In this sequel to the crossover special, Lupin III faces off once more against the pint-sized genius Conan Edogawa, and the stakes are higher than ever. An unknown enemy has kidnapped Fujiko, and the only way for Lupin to rescue her is to steal a particular jewel. At the same time, Fujiko isn't the only one in peril—a popular Italian singer receives a threatening note vowing to take his life. It falls to Conan Edogawa to unravel the mystery, but these two stories have more in common than they first appear! Who is truly manipulating whom, and who will emerge victorious?
