Ilse's Notebook: A Record of a Scout's Final Days During the 49th expedition of the Survey Corps, Hange Zoë becomes so desperate to capture a Titan specimen that they disobey Commander Erwin Smith's orders and pursue a creature spotted in a nearby forest alone. Despite the danger, Hange confronts the Titan and attempts to question it, but the entity behaves strangely, fleeing deep into the woods with Hange in hot pursuit. There, Hange uncovers the remains of former scout Ilse Langnar. Among the belongings found is a diary detailing Ilse's final moments, offering vital data for Titan research. A Sudden Visitor: The Burden of Youthful Ambition Jean Kirstein hopes to escape his mundane life and domineering mother by joining the military, aiming for the Military Police to secure a comfortable, low-stress existence. However, his time in the 104th Training Corps does not match these expectations. Frustrated by having his accomplishments stolen and mocked by fellow cadets, Jean challenges his comrade Sasha Blouse to a duel to settle who is truly stronger. The result of this confrontation remains unknown. Through Adversity The 104th Training Corps receives orders to ride horses through the forest, ostensibly to test their vigilance in a peaceful environment. Yet, the exercise fails to command their full attention, creating tension within the group, particularly under Marco Bott's leadership. While some cadets focus on the mission, others choose to slack off and seek their own amusement. Suddenly, an unexpected threat emerges, catching the squad completely off guard.

In the world of Pokémon: Origins, Pokémon are diverse creatures with unique abilities, powers, and personalities. Dr. Yukinari Ookido has dedicated his life to studying these fascinating beings, engaging in activities such as catching, training, trading, and battling them. Despite his extensive research, he finds that there are limits to what he can accomplish from his lab alone. To further his studies, Ookido gifts two young boys each a Pokémon and a Pokédex to document them. One of the boys, Green, is brash, arrogant, and happens to be Dr. Ookido’s nephew. The other, Red, is enthusiastic and full of childlike curiosity. The story focuses on Red as he embarks on a journey through the Kanto region to complete his Pokédex by capturing and recording every known Pokémon. During his travels, Red discovers deeper aspects of himself and his aspirations. He must prove his skills and those of his Pokémon in Gym battles, overcoming challenges set by Gym Leaders to eventually face the Elite Four and aspire to become a Pokémon League Champion. Red’s path to the championship is fraught with obstacles beyond just other trainers and wild Pokémon. Criminal organizations like Team Rocket, which exploit Pokémon for nefarious reasons, stand in his way. Should Red triumph over these adversaries, including his rival Green and the myriad of Pokémon throughout Kanto, he might fulfill both his own dreams and those of Dr. Ookido.
