Synopsis

The second season of Kingdom. One year after the brutal conflict with the mighty Zhao, the State of Qin has refocused on King Ying Zheng's goal of subjugating the remaining six states and unifying China. Their next objective is Wei, a smaller state that serves as a geographic stepping stone for conquest. Xin, now a three-hundred-man commander of the rapidly growing Fei Xin Unit, continues to pursue great achievements to earn recognition for himself and his soldiers, driven by those who fell in previous battles. In the preliminary skirmishes preceding Qin's invasion of Wei, Xin faces competition from other young commanders of higher social standing. Back in Qin, the royal palace is thrown into upheaval as opposing factions begin to move against Ying Zheng's rule. With challenges both on the battlefield and at home, Zheng and Xin must lead the way in this era of endless war, determined to carve their names into history by creating a unified China.
