Synopsis
Continues the story of Infinite Stratos
In the world of Infinite Stratos, Japan developed the IS, a formidable exoskeleton suit that only females are capable of piloting. Due to its overwhelming destructive potential, an international treaty prohibited its deployment in warfare. Fifteen-year-old Ichika Orimura, who miraculously possesses the ability to operate an IS, is compelled to attend the Infinite Stratos Academy, an exclusive all-girls boarding school dedicated to training IS operators. Upon arrival, he reconnects with childhood friends Houki Shinonono and Lingyin Huang while forging a connection with Cecilia Alcott, the representative from the UK. Closely monitored by his older sister and homeroom teacher, Chifuyu Orimura, Ichika and his fellow students must rely on their piloting abilities to defend the school and themselves against the myriad dangers that arise during their eventful school life.

A new semester starts, and Ichika remains unaware of the affections the girls hold for him. Everyone strives to improve their IS piloting skills, but a fresh danger emerges. The covert organization known as Phantom Task makes its move, stealing IS units from across the globe and targeting Byakushiki—while also seeking to settle a personal grudge.
