Synopsis
Twenty years after being awakened from a submerged coffin in a lake, Bayonetta relentlessly pursues her lost memories. By day and night, she hunts celestial forces, gathering fragments of her forgotten past while upholding her pact with the demonic entities that grant her power as an Umbra Witch. Guided and armed by the enigmatic bartender and weaponsmith Rodin, she confronts the determined journalist Luka Redgrave, who is obsessed with exposing her role in his father's death and will stop at nothing to uncover the truth. A turning point arrives when she meets a young girl named Cereza, but her path is blocked by Jeanne, another Umbra Witch who remains loyal to the very forces Bayonetta opposes.
