Synopsis
In December 2199, Kagutsuchi, the 13th Hierarchical City, buzzes with holiday cheer as the year draws to a close and a new one approaches. During the festivities, rumors spread that Ragna the Bloodedge—an SS-class criminal carrying the largest bounty ever recorded—has entered the city. Called the "Grim Reaper," Ragna intends to tear down the world's governing system. Drawn by the enormous reward, a diverse group of elite fighters gather in Kagutsuchi, each with their own reasons for wanting to capture or kill him.
