Synopsis

In 2004 AD, 12-year-old Fuyuki Hinata dreams of chaos filling the skies with UFOs piloted by mysterious frog-like aliens. Meanwhile, Sergeant Keroro, assigned to lead an advance team for the Keronian invasion of Earth—known to them as Pekopon—starts his mission by sneaking into the Hinata household. After overpowering Fuyuki and his sister, Keroro intends to regroup with his team and return to their mothership to fix his crucial invasion device, the Kero Ball. But he finds that his unit has been abandoned due to an unexpected problem that forced the other Keronians to flee. Now marooned on Earth, Keroro must stay at the Hinata home with Fuyuki, the curious and wide-eyed boy; his athletic and hot-tempered sister Natsumi; and their hardworking and charming mother Aki. With no immediate way back to Keron, Keroro and his crew spend their days plotting schemes for world domination, only to be foiled by a series of unpredictable events. Despite these setbacks, living among humans gradually makes Keroro and his team see them as friends and allies, forging humorous and meaningful bonds that enrich their lives on Earth.
