Summary

Tamama serves as the newest and youngest recruit in the Keroro Platoon, holding the rank of Private Second Class. His name is derived from the Japanese term otamajakushi, meaning tadpole. Although his chronological age remains a mystery, seiyuu Etsuko Kozakura has confirmed that she portrays him as a nineteen-year-old. He maintains a reputation as an extremely loyal subordinate to Keroro. Much like his partner Momoka Nishizawa, Tamama suffers from volatile mood swings that verge on split personality disorder. While he typically appears gentle and cheerful, he can instantly transform into a vengeful, raving maniac if provoked, a shift often signaled by the sound of a popping balloon. Jealousy is another defining trait, particularly regarding anyone who approaches Keroro. He frequently refers to Angol Mois as "that woman" and views her as a direct rival for Keroro’s attention, although she remains blissfully unaware of his animosity. His personal interests include junk food, specifically candy, cake, cola, and potato chips, as well as physical training, for which he maintains a private room in the Nishizawa Mansion. However, his sweet tooth led to a diagnosis of high blood sugar during a medical checkup in the anime. Conversely, Tamama detests the sound of nails dragging across a chalkboard.
