Joriri

Joriri

Summary

The precise age of Joriri remains unknown, though he was already an adult by the time the Keroro Platoon were children. Whenever he appears in an episode, he frequently offers counsel to the squad, though his wisdom is generally incomprehensible to most. Before delivering any advice, he follows a distinct ritual: he retrieves a footstool, places his foot upon it, and rubs his chin thoughtfully with his thumb and index finger. Joriri considers Keroro a close friend and consistently attempts to assist him, despite often failing in his efforts. When Keroro once tried to live alongside Joriri to enjoy his relaxed lifestyle, he found the experience to be more torture than leisure. Among the platoon members, Dororo, formerly known as Zeroro, held the strongest affection for Joriri and was the sole individual capable of understanding his cryptic sayings. In contrast, neither Giroro nor Keroro grasped his wisdom. The mention of Joriri’s name typically prompted laughter from Keroro, Giroro, and Dororo alike. Giroro was also one of Joriri’s friends. When Joriri briefly joined the platoon as Tamama’s junior, Tamama initially despised him and failed to comprehend a word he said. However, their dynamic shifted later when Joriri defended Tamama in a fight.
