Summary

Kururu serves as the Sergeant Major in the Keron Army and heads communications for the Keroro Platoon. Although he holds a rank higher than Keroro, he does not lead the group, largely due to his unpleasant and unnerving demeanor, which earned him the moniker 'Yellow Devil'. His name is derived from the Japanese word "kurukuru," meaning "round and round," a reference to the spirals on his glasses. He has blood type AB, a classification that aligns with the Japanese blood type theory of personality. As the intellectual powerhouse of the squad, he is mischievous, deceitful, and enigmatic, often coming across as a mad scientist. Most characters view him as a depressing jerk, and his action figures sell poorly in Keron, a fact that chagrins him even as he takes pride in his bad attitude. Despite his general unpopularity, he maintains a good relationship with Mutsumi and Aki Hinata. He shares a deep mutual loathing with Giroro, stemming from their contrasting roles as brain and brawn, which leads Kururu to frequently use Giroro as a test subject for his inventions. Originally blue in his childhood, Kururu turned yellow due to his affection for curry.
