Summary

Known as Mutsumi Hojo in the manga and Saburo in the anime, he is a classmate of Natsumi. Often described as a poet, artist, and philosopher, he frequently skips class and hosts a radio show that Natsumi enjoys listening to. He possesses a genius-level intellect, having achieved a perfect score of 300 out of 300 on an IQ test, and excels in sports as well. Despite his talents, he struggles to fit in with his classmates, particularly the boys, due to his exceptional abilities. His partner is Sergeant Major Kururu, who gifted him a magical pen capable of drawing objects into existence. The two share a strong bond because they operate on the same wavelength. They first crossed paths when the Keronian attempted to turn the students of Saburo’s school into his servants after deciding to strike out on his own. Although Mutsumi is highly observant, he remains oblivious to Natsumi’s romantic feelings for him. Consequently, whenever he approaches her, he is frequently pushed aside by the jealous Giroro. He also makes several appearances in the anime series Seven of Seven. His nickname is derived from a form of Japanese number wordplay.
