Synopsis
Continues the story of Kinnikuman
Kinnikuman is a clumsy superhero who struggles at his job. After Meat reveals that he is actually an alien prince, Kinnikuman starts a series of adventures, battling evil chiyojins and taking part in various tournaments. Through these ordeals, he seeks to show his worth to his family and achieve respect along with wealth.
In this installment
Kinnikuman is about to become the rightful heir to the throne of Planet Kinniku in Kinnikuman: Kinnikusei Oui Soudatsu-hen. However, during his coronation ceremony, five impostors who also claim to be Kinnikuman appear, each seeking the crown for themselves. To determine the genuine successor, a Royal Survivor Tournament is launched. With the backing of his friends and his newly mastered Ultimate Technique, the Muscle Spark, Kinnikuman battles his way through the tournament to secure his rightful inheritance.
Background
The series starts after the Dream Choujin Tag Arc from the first series, ignoring the anime only Psycho and Goku'aku Choujin Arcs, and covers only the Survivor Match for the Kinniku Throne Arc. Additionally, the characters Detective Gobugari and Kinkotsu-Obaba do not appear in this series, and only Kinnikuman and Meat have their same voice actors from the first series.
