Summary
Kinnikuman Mariposa, originally known as Thief George, is a key figure from Yudetamago’s Kinnikuman manga, debuting in Chapter 272 of the comic and Episode 1 of the anime. Born on the same day and in the same hospital as Kinnikuman and four other boys, he was identified as one of the Five Fated Princes during the series' final arc. A fire at the hospital caused the infants to be mixed up, potentially displacing the true heir to their home planet. His family eventually relocated to Planet Moctezuma, a world with such a thin atmosphere that residents must wear oxygen masks. Growing up in poverty there, he developed a resilient spirit and exceptional jumping prowess, which led him to a life of crime. During his time as a thief, he stole the Robin Family heirloom, the Anoalo Sceptre. Later, five evil gods sought out the potential heirs, granting them immense choujin power to compete as the Five Fated Princes, each claiming to be the legitimate successor. Mariposa was selected by the God of Flight, and a royal survivor tournament was held to determine who would ascend to the throne.
