Summary
Mammothman, also known by the alias Michael, is a Perfect Chojin hailing from Siberia in the former USSR. Standing at an imposing 279 cm and weighing 400 kg, he is an ancient being who has survived since at least the last Ice Age. With a Chojin Kyodo Power rating of 78,000,000, his signature moves include the Powerful Nose Breaker, Nose Fencing, and Ice Rock Gyro. He first debuted in Manga Chapter 274 and Anime Episode 2. Originally appearing as a member of Kinnikuman Super Phoenix’s squad during the manga’s final arc, Mammothman is distinguished by his sentient tusks that instinctively hunt and consume nearby blood. He later resurfaces in Kinnikuman Nisei disguised as a teddy bear named Michael, partnering with Warsman to form the tag team "Hell's Bears." His true identity was nearly exposed when Neptuneman tasted the ice leaking from the costume. At Kinnikuman’s coronation, Mammothman intervened to protect his master, Super Phoenix, from the protagonist. During the tournament's opening round, he decimated Kinnikuman Big Body’s entire team but deliberately tied with Cannonballer to let Super Phoenix face Big Body directly. In a subsequent six-man match against Team Soldier, Mammothman engaged in a fierce struggle for possession of a Soldier's Muscle Prophecy page with Buffaloman. Although Buffaloman defeated Mammothman with a Buffalo Bomb, both warriors fell into a canyon. Mammothman survived, seized the page, and threw it into a torch, causing Soldier to begin fading from existence. He later ambushed Warsman, forcing the young hero to withdraw from the finals. Mammothman’s final confrontation took place in another six-man bout against Kinnikuman, Neptuneman (posing as The Samurai), and Robin Mask. He primarily dueled Robin, using his blood-seeking tusks to inflict severe damage. In a desperate move to make the battle more engaging, Super Phoenix began burning the prophecy pages of both Chojin, a process that erased their existence. Utilizing his strategic brilliance, Robin deduced the tusks' weakness and splashed blood onto Mammothman himself. The tusks turned on their owner, impaling him. Robin finished him with a Rope Work Tower Bridge. As their prophecy pages burned, both Chojin disappeared, with Mammothman expressing his intense hatred for the crowd as he faded away.
