Summary
Jesse Maivia is a prominent figure from Yudetamago’s Kinnikuman and its sequel Kinnikuman Nisei. Hailing from Hawaii, USA, he is an eighteen-year-old Seigi Choujin, though he also appears as a fifty-six-year-old Nisei. Standing at 195cm and weighing 110kg, he possesses Choujin Kyoudo of 850,000 Power. His signature look includes a Mahiole and ʻAhu ʻula. Maivia is the reigning champion of the Hawaiian Choujin world and a master of Move Reversion. He achieved this status by defeating the legendary Prince Kamehame in a singles match, a feat that makes him the only character in the series to have bested the great warrior. Despite his immense strength, Maivia’s reliance solely on Move Reversion and his refusal to learn other techniques made him arrogant. This hubris led to his defeat by Kinnikuman, causing him to lose the title, though he later reclaimed the belt from Kamehame. He reappears during the 21st Choujin Olympics and plays a significant role in the Survivor Match for the Kinniku Throne. By this time, his arrogance has faded, and he is portrayed as a more level-headed individual. In Kinnikuman Nisei, he serves as a trainer at the Hercules Factory.
