Summary

Iwao is a Kaijuu originating from Planet Dokuro. Standing 166 cm tall with a weight of 214 kg, he possesses a Chojin Kyodo of 150,000 Power and is known for his trademark Rocky Attack. He made his debut in Manga Chapter 11 and Anime Episode 4. Initially appearing at an amusement park, Iwao was quickly defeated by Kinnikuman. He later resurfaced with the intention of ruining Kinnikuman’s reputation during an interview with Natsuko. Although he attempted to take Natsuko hostage after being interrupted by Kappatron, he was once again easily beaten by Kinnikuman. Following this, Iwao became Kinkotsuman’s sidekick, assisting in various schemes to destroy Kinnikuman. The pair appeared to reform after the Choujin Olympics but returned to villainy during the American Tag Tournament. In the anime adaptation, they eventually allied with Detective Gobugari and served as Kinnikuman’s primary cheering squad. Iwao is not particularly intelligent and often mimics Kinkotsuman’s mannerisms, including his laugh and speech patterns. He frequently uses the word dawasa as a standalone sentence to express agreement, which irritates Kinkotsuman and often results in him receiving a head bop. Iwao refers to Kinkotsuman as Sensei.
