Warsman

Summary

Born Nikolai Volkov in a struggling Soviet family, Warsman, also known as Battleman or Kuroe, is a half-robot, half-Choujin hybrid standing at 210cm. Initially classified as a Zangyaku Choujin, he possesses retractable iron Bear Claws and advanced artificial intelligence that allows him to calmly analyze opponents to defeat them within thirty minutes. If the fight exceeds this limit, his internal systems overload, causing smoke to emit from his body and leading to a shutdown. His childhood was marked by bullying over his robotic visage until he met Barracuda, who secretly trained him with hellish regimens to exact revenge on Kinnikuman. This brutal conditioning left Warsman unable to communicate normally, relying instead on a creepy breathing pattern, and he could only be calmed by the sight of Robin Mask’s mask. During the 21st Choujin Olympics, Warsman fought under Barracuda’s command, easily killing Teapackman with his Screw Driver technique and eviscerating Pentagon after tearing off his wings. In the Battle of the Beasts against Ramenman, he overpowered the "Most Brutal Choujin," throwing him through a table and stabbing him in the temple with his Bear Claws. Facing Kinnikuman in a Mask Removal Death Match, he was swayed by Bibinba’s kindness and Kinnikuman’s mercy, leading him to destroy his own claws and switch sides. However, after thirty minutes, his computer failed, and Kinnikuman defeated him with a Kinniku Buster. Later, during the Devil Choujin Arc, he and Robin became Idol Choujins. Warsman battled Buffaloman, breaking a Long Horn before being killed by Hurricane Mixers, but was revived by a redeemed Buffaloman. In the Golden Mask Arc, Warsman sacrificed himself by urging Kinnikuman to punch through his face, which concealed Planetman’s heart. His body later served as the arena for the Five-Story Ring matches against Ashuraman and Terryman, where Terryman used Buffaloman’s arms to restart Warsman’s heart. During the Universal Choujin Tag Tournament, Warsman’s Friendship Power was stolen, causing him to turn against Kinnikuman and team with Robin as the Choujin Master/Student Combo. They faced the Hell Missionaries, where Warsman’s mask was removed by Neptuneman’s Double Leg Suplex, blinding him temporarily before he was killed by the Cross Bomber. His soul was later found in the Choujin Graveyard, where he shared the secret of the Life Spheres with Kinnikuman. Dr. Bombay revived him with a Heart Crystal for the semi-finals against Team Zebra, though his memory was incomplete, forcing him to rely on Robin’s deception to defeat The Manriki with a Palo Special. He trained in a Nara bamboo forest to counter Mammothman’s Big Tusks but was ambushed before reaching Osaka Castle. Geronimo took his place in the finals, but Warsman eventually recovered to cheer alongside other Seigi Choujins during the final battle.
