Synopsis

Continues the story of Saki

First-year high school student Saki Miyanaga holds a strong dislike for mahjong because of a difficult past, and she usually tries to avoid the game. Despite this, her friend Kyoutarou Suga pushes her to join the school's mahjong club. There, Saki meets Nodoka Haramura, the reigning champion from the national middle school level, and club member Yuuki Kataoka. During a game, Saki attempts to conceal her real skill, but club president Hisa Takei notices her unique playing style and calls her out, revealing a talent that impresses everyone and creates tension with Nodoka. After Saki officially joins the team and makes up with Nodoka, their bond grows stronger. As Saki rediscovers her love for mahjong, she and her teammates strive for victory in the national championships.

In this installment

Saki Miyanaga leads the Kiyosumi High School mahjong team as they compete in the national round of the Interhigh Mahjong Championship. There, she encounters opponents who are just as skilled, if not more so. Despite the fierce competition, Saki remains determined to achieve her goal: reuniting with her sister in person.
