Summary
Shizuno Takakamo serves as the central protagonist of the spin-off manga "Saki Achiga-hen episode of side-A". She is a first-year student at Achiga Girls' Academy in Nara Prefecture. During her elementary school years, she formed a friendship with Nodoka Haramura, and the two enjoyed playing mahjong together within the school's club. Before the club was disbanded, Shizuno ranked as the second-best player. After witnessing Nodoka win the middle school individual championship on television, she resolved to restore the mahjong club upon entering high school. Her ultimate ambition is to compete in the national high school team tournament and face off against Nodoka. Personality-wise, Shizuno is an energetic and athletic girl who gets excited easily. She prioritizes spending time with her friends and strives to have as much fun as possible. Her persistent, never-give-up attitude makes her a formidable opponent. Furthermore, she acts as a morale booster for her team, stepping up to cheer everyone on whenever they fall into despair or lose motivation.
