Summary
Takako Kubo is a professional mahjong player who serves as the coach for the mahjong club at Kazekoshi Girls' High School in Nagano Prefecture. She possesses a stern demeanor and is known to administer physical punishment to team members who fail to meet her high expectations. Kubo maintains a professional relationship with her colleague Yasuko Fujita and is responsible for managing her own group of professional players.
