However, becoming disconnected from SHELL can trigger the rare "Human Lost" phenomenon, where individuals transform into monstrous beings called "Lost," posing an existential danger to society. Despite the removal of fear and suffering, antisocial behavior is on the upswing. Takeichi, a factory laborer, decides to assault the Ministry of Interior to protest his oppressive living conditions and persuades his artist friend, Youzou Ooba, to aid him. Their ill-fated mission ends with Takeichi gravely injured and mutating into a Lost, soon followed by Youzou. Yoshiko Hiiragi, a member of the emergency response team, notices during the clash that Youzou possesses the unusual ability to revert to human form. As the third person to survive after turning into a Lost, Youzou allies with Yoshiko to investigate the rising cases of Human Lost, hoping to preserve what remains of civilization.

In the year 20XX, humans called "Concodes" partner with advanced AIs known as "Codeman" to compete in team battles using the card game ZENOZARD. Excitement builds worldwide as everyone gears up for THE ZENON, a prestigious championship. Souta Azuma, an ordinary high school student, meets a mysterious woman named Eilietta Lash, who reveals herself to be a Codeman. Eilietta asks Souta to form a team with her to enter THE ZENON, even though he is hesitant at first. Their first match pits them against Shion Saionji, a famous player from Souta's school, and her Codeman, Ash Claude.

At the final episode pre-screening event held on Friday, it was revealed that the Double Decker! Doug & Kirill television anime will receive three additional episodes. These are titled Double Decker! Doug & Kirill: Extra, and they will be made available for streaming on Bandai Channel and other streaming services from February through April 2019. The Blu-ray and DVD set containing the extra episodes is scheduled to launch on May 24, 2019.

After returning to her hometown, Yoshika Miyafuji spends her days in peace. Her former commanding officer, Mio Sakamoto, along with others, made arrangements for Yoshika to study abroad at a medical school in Europe. Yoshika travels back to Europe accompanied by Shizuka Hattori, a student of Sakamoto's at the naval academy. As Yoshika arrives in Europe and new signs of the Neuroi emerge, the other former members of the 501st Joint Fighter Wing, who had been scattered across different locations, start to reassemble. A powerful Neuroi then confronts Yoshika and Shizuka.

During a morning lesson, Nobita shares with his classmates strange events happening on the Moon, suggesting a Moon Rabbit is behind them, but nobody believes him. To demonstrate, he attempts to make rice cakes shaped like a rabbit, but accidentally strikes his teacher and ends up being punished. Looking for comfort, Nobita talks to Doraemon, who reluctantly uses the Divergent View Badge to generate a fake lunar environment. They mold a creature out of animal clay named Moonbit and go back home. Later, Nobita's mom asks him to collect Susuki grass for the upcoming Moon Viewing Festival. While out, he spots a mysterious boy who vanishes swiftly. The following day, a transfer student named Luca arrives in class, and Nobita realizes he is the same boy he saw earlier.

In the 21st century, Earth's environment degraded to a point where it could no longer sustain life, forcing humanity to escape to Planet Zi, the home of the metal-based lifeforms called Zoids. After many centuries, Zi itself faces destruction, prompting its inhabitants to embark on a mission to reclaim Earth. In order to make Earth livable again, the settlers carry out a plan called "Zi-Forming." But this scheme goes wrong, causing massive chaos. Earth becomes overrun with Zoids and suffers from erratic weather patterns, making survival extremely tough for the colonists. Both the Empire and Republic colonies resort to digging up Zoids from beneath Earth’s surface to strengthen their military forces. The story follows Leo Conrad and Buzz Cunningham, two second-generation humans born on Earth, who cross paths with Sally Land as she tries to escape capture by the Empire.
