Continues the story of Gundam Build Divers
In Gundam Build Divers, Gunpla Battle Nexus Online (GBN) is a revolutionary virtual reality game that allows players to take on diverse missions using Gunpla in a vast digital universe. Middle school students Riku Mikami and Yukio Hidaka, along with their peer Momoka Yashiro, join forces to explore this immersive world as "Divers." Inside GBN, they encounter Sarah, an enigmatic girl with a unique connection to Gunpla, and they begin adventuring together, only for events to take an unexpected turn. Numerous renowned Divers populate GBN, including Kyoya Kujo, whom Riku greatly admires. Teams of Divers can form groups known as "forces." However, the game faces a threat from "Mass-Divers" who use illicit modifications called break decals. Through many challenges and shared experiences, Riku and his companions forge both their Gunpla and their own stories.

Two years after the EL-Divers incident, the online game Gunpla Battle Nexus Online (GBN) has grown significantly in popularity, boosted by new additions like missions and story events that expand its appeal. Among the player base, Hiroto Kuga stands out for his exceptional skills. By chance, Hiroto encounters three other players: Kazami Torimachi, known for his arrogance; May, whose true nature remains unclear; and the anxious Parviz. Forming the team "BUILD DiVERS," they take on a story mission promising substantial in-game rewards. As they progress, the BUILD DiVERS must confront their individual shortcomings while uniting against challenges that may extend beyond the boundaries of GBN itself.

It is the first Gundam series produced by Sunrise Beyond, an animation studio established after Sunrise's purchase and closure of Xebec.
