Synopsis

In the year 2027, Kyoto is a city overflowing with cutting-edge technology. Within this world live two high school students: Naomi Katagaki, a shy and socially awkward boy, and Ruri Ichigyou, a girl known for her cold and sarcastic demeanor. Despite both sharing a passion for books, Naomi struggles to connect with Ruri due her off-putting personality. One day while out for a walk, Naomi glimpses a fleeting red aurora in the sky. Soon after, he encounters a strange three-legged crow and a cloaked stranger who reveals himself to be a future version of Naomi from ten years later. This future Naomi warns that a terrible incident will befall Ruri once she and the present-day Naomi begin dating. Though skeptical at first, Naomi decides to heed his older self's advice and works to build a closer relationship with Ruri, hoping to change her fate. Can Naomi succeed in rewriting the future that awaits them?
