Girly Air Force

Synopsis

In "Girly Air Force," Kei Narutani and his childhood friend Song Minghua escape from China to evade the Zai, a sinister group causing chaos across the nation. During their journey to Japan, they are rescued by an unusual red aircraft. Kei's interest in this aircraft leads him to his rescuer, a girl called an "Anima" who pilots a special plane known as a "Daughter." She introduces herself as Gripen, a cute JAS-39F fighter jet. As Kei forms a bond with Gripen, he is recruited by the Japan Self-Defense Force to help her overcome her difficulties with flying. The team is soon joined by Eagle, a laid-back F-15J-ANM, and Phantom, a dignified RF-4EJ-ANM. Together, they stand as the last line of defense against the menacing Zai, an extraterrestrial threat, united in their mission to protect humanity.
