In May 2018, V-Jump announced a promotional anime for Dragon Ball Heroes, a Japanese arcade and trading card game. For Western players, the video game was also released on Nintendo Switch, while the card game was called "Dragon Ball Super TCG" in the West, merging with an existing Japanese card game under the same name. Realizing the incident was actually a targeted attempt on his own life, Lord El-Melloi II launches a hunt for the culprit together with Gray, Flat, and Svin.
